| STRENGTH PROPERTIES: | Red Alder is a fairly soft hardwood, medium density, low bending strength and stiffness. |
| GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS: | Red Alder machines well, nails, screws and glues well, and can be sanded, painted, or stained to a good finish. When stained, it can be blended with walnut, cherry or mahogany or cherry. Good dimensional stability after drying and very stable.
