STRENGTH PROPERTIES:Light and soft with generally low strength
GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS:Works well with sharp tools and is excellent for carving. It is soft, but resists splitting. Glues, screws, nails and stains well.
AVAILABILITY:Readily available in 8/4, 10/4, 12/4 thicknesses
USES:Carvings, turnings, furniture, pattern-making, mouldings, millwork and musical instruments.
